Mario Mercedes Had Three Hits In Boise Win

Boise took care of Eugene 5-1 and Mario Mercedes was the hitting star in the win.  He went three for four and he scored two runs.  William Mottrim had a big hit with a two run homer.

Harol Tolentino picked up the win with three solid innings of relief.  He gave up one run on two hits and a walk with five strikeouts.

Eugene Edges Boise 5-4

Boise fell a run short in their 5-4 loss to Eugene and it was reliever Chris Siegfried who took the loss.  He just gave up the last run though and while Alberto Alburquerque struck out six, he gave up three runs in his four innings of work.

Ty Wright hit a two run homer in the loss.  Derek Schermerhorn went two for three with a walk and a run.

Boise Shutout By Salem-Keizer

Boise was shutout on four hits in an 8-0 loss to Salem Keizer.  All four hits were singles and only Marquez Smith reached base twice with a single and a walk.

Andrew McCormick was hit hard and he took the loss.  He gave up seven runs (five earned) on seven hits and three walks with one strikeout in 2 2/3 innings.

Boise’s Comeback Falls Short In Loss to Salem-Keizer

Boise went down 5-0 and while they stormed back late and came within a run when they scored three in the ninth, they fell short and took the loss.  Jose Made was the hitting star in the 5-4 loss. He went three for three with a double, a run and an RBI.

Christopher Huseby took the loss and he fell to 0-1 on the season.  He gave up four runs (two earned) on three hits and two walks with one strikeout.

Boise Blasted By Salem-Keizer

Alberto Cabrera dropped to 0-1 on the season with a rough start in Boise’s 8-2 loss to Salem-Keizer.  He gave up four runs (three earned) on six hits and two walks with four strikeouts in 3 2/3 innings.

Marc Sawyer was the hitting star in the loss.  He went two for three and he drove in both runs with a two run homer in the ninth inning.

Jonathan Wyatt Hits Three Run Homer In Boise Loss

John Muller gave up a solo homerun in the top of the ninth and that proved to be the deciding run in Boise’s 5-4 loss to Salem-Keizer.  Alberto Alburquerque had a nice start and he gave up two runs on four hits and a walk with seven strikeouts in seven innings.

Jonathan Wyatt account for most of the scoring with a three run homer.  Dylan Johnston went four for five with two doubles, a triple and an RBI.
