Harol Tolentino picked up his first win of the season with a nice start in the AZL Cubs 6-2 win over the AZL Padres. He gave up just one hit and one walk with eight strikeouts in five shutout innings.
Brandon Guyer went two for five with a triple, an RBI and a run. Marwin Gonzalez singled, drew three walks and scored twice in the win.
Boise took care of Eugene 5-1 and Mario Mercedes was the hitting star in the win. He went three for four and he scored two runs. William Mottrim had a big hit with a two run homer.
