Brandon Taylor was knocked up for seven runs in four innings as Boise lost to Salem-Keizer 8-3. Despite the poor performance, he didn’t even take the loss. That went to Alberto Cabrera who lasted just one inning in his start and he gave up the first run to drop to 3-3.
Jonathan Wyatt reached base four times in the loss. He singled twice and drew two walks. Ty Wright belted a solo shot for his sixth homer of the season.
Boise edged Yakima 3-1 and it Alberto Alburquerque who got it done on the mound. He improved to 1-1 on the season and he gave up two hits and a walk with four strikeouts in five shutout innings of relief.
Jonathan Wyatt went two for two with a double, a walk and a run. William Mottram hit a solo homer in the win.
John Muller gave up a solo homerun in the top of the ninth and that proved to be the deciding run in Boise’s 5-4 loss to Salem-Keizer. Alberto Alburquerque had a nice start and he gave up two runs on four hits and a walk with seven strikeouts in seven innings.
Jonathan Wyatt account for most of the scoring with a three run homer. Dylan Johnston went four for five with two doubles, a triple and an RBI.
