You wonder if Felix Pie is wasting his time down in Triple A. He had three more hits today and he scored three times. He’s now hitting .500 (7 for 14) on the season and he’s scored six runs. The Iowa Cubs got some really nice pitching in their doubleheader against Round Rock, it’s just unfortunate that they got just one run between the two games. Then Ryan O’Malley gave up just one unearned run in 4 2/3 innings in the 1-0 finale.
The lone run came in the opener, which Iowa lost 2-1, when Koyie Hill singled home Felix Pie.
