Jacob Renshaw improved to 7-4 on the season with five shutout innings in the Chiefs 5-2 win over Wisconsin. He gave up four hits and four walks with eight strikeouts.
Joshua Lansford went two for four with a double and an RBI. Jonathan Mota hit a solo homerun in the win.
Peoria came out on top 11-9 over Beloit and the only casualties were the pitchers. Just about everyone was a hitting star but Matt Camp went two for four with a run and three RBIs. Nathan Sampson went three for five with an RBI and two runs.
Jeremy Papelbon picked up the win with three solid innings of relief. He gave up one run on three hits and one walk with two strikeouts and the win pushes his record to 4-2 on the season.
Jacob Renshaw improved to 6-4 on the season with a nice start in the Chiefs 3-0 win over Beloit. He gave up three hits and a walk with eight strikeouts in 6 1/3 shutout innings.
Russell Canzier drove in all three Chiefs runs. He went three for four with a homerun. Joshua Lansford went two for four with a double and two runs.
The Chiefs had a tough time at the plate in their 3-1 loss to Beloit. Alfred Joseph was the only hitter with two hits and he also scored the run Chief’s run.
Robert Hernandez dropped to 2-2 on the season in the loss. He gave up two runs on three hits and two walks with four strikeouts in five innings.
The Chiefs put some runs on the board and while they racked up eight runs, they still lost 9-8 in ten innings. Donald Walters gave up the losing run in the tenth inning and he took the loss.
Russell Canzier had a nice game. He went three for four with a homerun, three RBIs and two runs.
Brad Clipp threw four solid innings of relief in the Chiefs 3-2 win over Clinton. He gave up just one run on three hits and he struck out six and he improved to 1-0 on the season.
Jonathan Mota was the hitting star. He went four for five with two doubles and an RBI. Yusuf Carter hit a solo homerun and he scored a run in the win.
Oscar Bernard gave up two eleventh inning runs in the Chiefs 8-7 loss to Clinton. Marco Carrillo didn’t pitch all that well in his start. He went six runs in four innings of work.

The Chiefs got plenty of offense and actually outhit Clinton 14-6 they just stranded a bunch of baserunners. Ryne Malone was on of three Chiefs to finish with three hits and he hit a solo homerun.
James Adduci had a great day at the plate in the Chiefs 9-1 win over Beloit. He went one for three with a double, a walk, two RBIs and a run. Ryne Malone went two for four with two runs.

Ryne Malone was the only Chief with more then one hit. He went two for three with a run.
