Down 4-3, Micah Hoffpauir hit a solo shot in the eighth inning to tie and then Eric Patterson hit a solo shot in the ninth that proved to be the game winner in a 5-4 come from behind win for the Cubs. Mike Kinkade was the only Cub with two hits. He went two for four with a run.
Randy Wells picked up the win with two shutout innings of relief. He gave up two hits and he struckout three in the win.
Iowa blewout Oklahoma 13-8 and Eric Patterson led the way for the Cubs at the plate. He went three for five with two triples, four RBIs and two runs scored. Geovany Soto went two for four with a double, a homerun, three RBIs and three runs.
Randy Wells picked up the win with two innings of shutout relief. He gave up one hit and he struck out four.
Geovany Sota had the big hit of the game in the Cubs 7-2 win over Round Rock. His grand slam in the sixth capped off a six run inning that pushed the Cubs into the lead for good. Mike Fontenot went three for five with a run and an RBI.

He homered twice and drove in three runs and he already has 20 RBIs this season. Felix Pie picked up two more hits and Mike Fontenot hit his first homerun of the season.
