Scott Taylor, Bullpen Is Shelled In Daytona Loss

Scott Taylor dropped to 3-6 on the season with a tough start in a beatdown by Dunedin.  Taylor gave up six runs and he didn’t even last through the second inning and when the dust settled, the Blue Jays had put twenty runs on the board in a 20-5 loss.

Alberto Garcia had a nice day at the plate.  He had just one hit but it was a two run homer and he also scored two runs.

Daytona Capitalizes On Five Brevard County Errors

Daytona beat Brevard County 9-3 despite getting outhit 12-9 because of five errors made by Brevard County.  Tyler Colvin also had a nice game at the plate.  He went three for four with a double, two RBIs and a run.

Scott Taylor picked up the win with seven solid innings and he improved to 3-5 on the season. He gave up two runs on nine hits and two walks with two strikeouts in seven solid inning.

Daytona Scores Eight In Third Inning to Beat Brevard County

Daytona racked up eight runs in the third innings as they blew out Brevard County 9-3.  Tyler Colvin was the hitting star in the win.  He went three for four with a double, two RBIs and a run.  Chris Amador hit a solo homerun and he scored two runs.

Scott Taylor picked up the win and he improved to 3-5 with a nice start.  He gave up two runs on nine hits and two walks with two strikeouts in seven solid innings.

Daytona Held to Three Hits in Loss to Jupiter

The Cubs offense was held in check and the only run of the game came on an RBI sac. fly by Jesus Valdez.  No Daytona hitter reached base more then once.

A decent start by Scott Taylor went to waste in the 8-1 loss.  He gave up two runs (one earned) on four hits and two walks with one strikeout in six innings.

Scott Taylor Hit Hard in Daytona Loss

Scott Taylor had a tough time with Jupiter in the Cubs 6-4 loss.  He dropped to 0-3 on the season and he gave up five runs on nine hits with four strikeouts in five innings of work.

Nate Spears went four for five in the game.  Jesus Valdez doubled and drove in two runs while Matt Matulia went two for five with a double and two runs.

Daytona Shutout in Loss to St. Lucie

Daytona suffered from a lack of offense and despite some solid pitching, they lost to St. Lucie 2-0.  The hitters picked up just five hits and all of them were singles and no hitter reached base twice.

Scott Taylor took the loss and he dropped to 0-2.  He gave up two runs on eight hits and two walks with one strikeout in five innings.

Daytona Pitching Hit Hard in Loss to Jupiter

Scott Taylor was hit had in Daytona’s loss to Jupiter.  He gave up eight runs (six earned) on ten hits and one walk in 5 1/3 innings of work.

Ryan Norwood singled and drove in two runs in the 10-5 loss.  Jesus Valdez hit an two run single in his only at bat.
