Brandon Taylor was knocked up for seven runs in four innings as Boise lost to Salem-Keizer 8-3. Despite the poor performance, he didn’t even take the loss. That went to Alberto Cabrera who lasted just one inning in his start and he gave up the first run to drop to 3-3.
Jonathan Wyatt reached base four times in the loss. He singled twice and drew two walks. Ty Wright belted a solo shot for his sixth homer of the season.
Pitching went out the window in this one as Boise edged Yakima 14-13 in ten innings. William Mottram drove in five runs while Ty Wright went three for five with a homerun, two RBIs and three runs.
Audy Santana picked up the win with a shutout tenth. The win improved his record to 2-1 on the season.
Boise fell a run short in their 5-4 loss to Eugene and it was reliever Chris Siegfried who took the loss. He just gave up the last run though and while Alberto Alburquerque struck out six, he gave up three runs in his four innings of work.
Ty Wright hit a two run homer in the loss. Derek Schermerhorn went two for three with a walk and a run.
