Iowa Held to Three Hits in Loss to Nashville

Iowa was shut down at the plate in today’s game as they were held to just a single run on three hits.  Eric Patterson doubled home Carlos Rojas in the third inning for the only Cubs run.

The pitching wasn’t much better as Carlos Marmol was hit hard.  He gave up four runs on five hits and four walks with three strikeouts in 5 1/3 innings.
